Alamofire Publishing is located in Austin, Texas, in the middle of the beautiful Texas Hill Country region. It is a Texas based company and owned by long-time Texicans, Mary and Cotton Inks. Mary Inks is a 7th generation Texan, being a descendant of Captain Abner Kuykendall and Sarah Gates who were a part of the “Old Three Hundred” original colonists in Texas. Cotton Inks is also a long-term Texican being a 6th generation Austinite. Privileged to have had the good fortune to be not only native born but generational Texans, their upbringing was steeped in the Texan heritage, culture and folklore. Both have embraced the spirit of independence and survival that Texans are so well known for and when faced with corporate “change,” chose to turn disadvantage into advantage and Alamofire Publishing was born. They make their home in Austin, Texas, and are active in the local music scene. |
